Brookline recently had the opportunity to be a part of a mobile-pack event for the organization Feed My Starving Children.
FMSC is a non-profit organization committed to feeding children around the world. Hand-packed meals, which are specifically formulated for malnourished children, are shipped to nearly 70 countries. The meals are packed by adult and children volunteers at mobile pack events.
FMSC offers volunteers a one-of-a-kind experience. We hand-packed rice, soy, dried vegetables and a nutritionally complete blend of vitamins and minerals into bags which were then sealed, boxed, placed on pallets and shipped to partners working hard to reach the neediest children around the world.
The Brookline team got the chance to impact hundreds of kids on our first visit, and we look forward to setting up more time and events in the future.

Fry the Coop has since been featured on ABC’s Windy City Live and Hungry Hound, WGN’s Lunch Break, Fox’s Good Day Chicago, WGN Radio’s Bill & Wendy Show, and in the Chicago Tribune and Eater Chicago. The abundance of media coverage catapulted business from strong local core to lines out the door. They were selling like – you guessed it – Nashville Hot cakes
