Former Chicago Cub Kerry Wood and the Wood Family Foundation hold an annual fundraiser to kick off Cubs Convention weekend in Chicago. For the third consecutive year, Brookline had the pleasure of donating and consorting among players and other local figures during a night of entertainment at Harry Caray’s Restaurant in the iconic Water Tower.
The Wood Family Foundation in a non-profit organization founded in 2011 Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood and his wife, Sarah. The WFF works to improve the lives of children in and around Chicago by raising funds and awareness for its children’s programs and other children’s charities they support.
