Lockport Square, built in 2007, is located at the busy intersection of Farrell Road and 159th Street in flourishing Lockport, IL. With I-355 less than a quarter mile away (between I-80 and I-55), this intersection boasts a traffic count of 18,000 vehicles per day, which recently attracted anchors Walmart and Jewel –Osco.

The two-building retail center was acquired at a closing price of $3,978,000, and at an occupancy of 59%. The upside value was taken advantage of immediately as multiple leases are in the process of being finalized in order to get the net income closer to its full potential. Multiple acre pad sites around the center also add value for future developments suitable for retail, big box, office and hotel.
