Brookline Real Estate & Investments has completed the purchase of two outlot centers at Shops of Romeoville, southwest of Chicago. Tenants of the two assets include: Starbucks, Verizon, AT&T, Jimmy John’s and Great Clips. The centers also benefit from significant traffic generated by nearby anchor tenants: Target, Kohl’s, Walmart, Sam’s Club, and Chase and 5/3 Banks.

Just south of I-55 near the new I-355 extension, the Shops of Romeoville prosper at the 38,700 VPD intersection of Weber and Airport Rd. With a population over 40,000, Romeoville is also home to over 600 businesses and Lewis University.

The acquisition, given its elite tenants, location and newer construction is an assertive addition to Brookline’s growing portfolio as they further their impression on the Chicago MSA multi-tenant retail market. Brookline continues to aggressively pursue and procure both stabilized and value-add investment opportunities throughout the Midwest.
